Dear Reverend Moon,

It is only very recently that I have learned of your imprison-ment. 

I am so sad to know that this has happened to you.

I know that your strong faith will help you to deal with your ordeal and I will ensure that the members of the congregation of my own church will know what has happened and will join me in praying for you.

The past months have shown such a hopeful change in the climate in Eastern Europe and in South Africa and I will hope that these changes will spread to other countries.

Hold fast and keep hope.
